Meet Our Team
Elias Ketsetzis
Since 2000, I have been deeply honoured to be part of this journey. I have witnessed generations grow through our program from campers to counselors, to newlyweds, and now parents sending their own children to Camp Met.
Alongside our dedicated core team, I remain fully committed to ensuring that this summer and every summer to come embodies the spirit, excellence, and love that Camp Met has always represented.
Fr. Evdokimos Mathioudakis (Fr. Ev)
Hey everyone! Let me introduce myself, I’m Fr. Ev (short for Evdokimos, but don’t worry, even Greeks have trouble saying it sometimes!). I was born and raised in sunny Heraklion, Crete, and moved to Canada six years ago. Since then, I’ve been blessed to serve different parishes, including three and a half wonderful years in Kingston, and now as the priest of Saints Constantine and Helen in Toronto.
Working with youth has always been one of the most rewarding parts of my ministry. I love their honest questions, the genuine laughter we share, and the opportunity to show them how fun and alive our faith can be.
This summer marks my second year as Spiritual Director with the Camp Met team, and I couldn't be more excited to be back! Camp is a place where faith comes alive in a special way—in prayer, in laughter, in games, in friendships, and even around the campfire. I can't wait to see everyone again, share stories, pray together, and build memories that will stay with us long after the summer ends. See you all very soon at camp for another unforgettable week of faith, fun, and yes... lake, lake, lake! God bless.

With a professional background in education and a history at Camp Met dating back to 1999, I bring over two decades of multifaceted experience to the community, having served as a camper, counselor, and board member.
This enduring tenure has instilled in me a profound appreciation for Camp Met's impact, evidenced by the lifelong friendships I forged at camp and maintain to this day. Committed to stewardship and excellence, I deeply understand the vital role Camp Met plays in youth development, and I am dedicated to ensuring the program balances a firm commitment to safety with an enriching, high-energy summer experience.

I started going to Camp Met when I was 13, and now, at 23 and in my second year of the Master of Teaching program, I can honestly say that camp has played a huge role in shaping who I am — both personally and professionally.
True to its name, Metamorphosis, this camp is all about transformation. It's not just a week away — it’s a place to grow spiritually, discover more about yourself, and create lifelong friendships.

I still remember how nervous I was as a first-year camper back in 2014! What I didn’t know then was that I would find lifelong friends, a community that feels like family, and endless stories from years of happy memories.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to design the Camp Met t-shirts, which has made my connection to camp even more meaningful. Being part of Camp Met is something I’m incredibly grateful for and proud of.

What started as my mom “forcing” me to go to church camp as a kid has turned into one of the most meaningful and life-changing parts of my life. I never imagined those early summers would one day lead me to the board of directors.
Over the years, Camp Met has helped shape who I am. It’s where I found my faith, made friendships, and discovered my passion. More than just a camp, it has become a second family.

From my very first summer at Camp Metamorphosis in 2013, I had no idea just how much this place would become a cornerstone in my life. Year after year, I returned as a camper, then as a counselor — with each role bringing new lessons and unforgettable memories.
Now, as a member of the Board of Directors, I’m honored to help guide the same program that has given me so much. I want every camper to walk away with the same sense of belonging and spiritual growth that I’ve been blessed to experience.
