Dear Camp Met Family and Friends,

I write to you today not only as the Director of Camp Metamorphosis, but also as a devoted father, a firefighter who has proudly served the community for 18 years, and someone who has dedicated over 20 years as a volunteer to this extraordinary program and the families it serves.

True to our name "Metamorphosis," transformation and growth have always been at the core of our mission. For the past 28 years, Camp Met has continued to evolve, overcome challenges, and remain a cherished part of so many lives. We are more than a camp; we are a family and a community.

Our goal is for each camper to return home with a deeper understanding and appreciation of their faith and culture, ultimately inspiring them to become more faithful and active members of their Orthodox Church community.

Since 2000, I have been deeply honored to be part of this journey. I have witnessed generations grow through our program from campers to counselors, to newlyweds, and now parents sending their own children to Camp Met. This full-circle experience speaks to the strength and enduring legacy of our community.

Alongside our dedicated core team, I remain fully committed to ensuring that this summer and every summer to come embodies the spirit, excellence, and love that Camp Met has always represented. Our foundation is strong, and I hope this letter serves as a reminder that Camp Met is not merely a place, it is home.
